The impact ledger
Pristine hasn't started cleanups yet. This ledger goes live the day our first crew does — every kilogram weighed daily and shown here in public. No numbers are shown until they're real.
What you'll track here, from day one
Methodology & transparency
When we launch, every kilogram shown here will be physically collected and removed from Bali's beaches, rivers, and roadsides by salaried local crews, then weighed and logged.
Daily weigh-ins: each crew will weigh what it collects at the end of every shift; totals roll up here.
Plastic is weighed separately so we can report a true plastic share, not an estimate.
"Collected and removed" means physically taken out of the environment and handed to a managed disposal or recycling stream — never burned, never re-dumped.
Funds flow foundation → crew wages + disposal costs. The conservative field cost we plan around is $0.30/kg (≈ 3 kg per $1).
Partners will receive a quarterly impact report reconciling funds in against kilograms out.
Data note: These figures are zero until cleanups begin. The live counter and breakdowns read from /data/impact.json today and are structured to swap to a real backend (daily crew weigh-in feed) without changing the component API — see src/lib/impact.ts.
